Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before joining the waitlist. Can't find your answer? Email us.

Do I need good credit to apply? +

No credit check is required to join the waitlist. We'll share full eligibility details — including any income or residency requirements — when applications officially open in 2026.

What's included in the monthly fee? +

Your monthly access fee covers vehicle access, basic maintenance, and Level 2 home charger installation. Auto insurance is handled separately by the participant and is not included in the monthly fee.

Does the charger stay after my rental ends? +

Yes. After 12 continuous months in the program, the Level 2 home charger is yours to keep — regardless of whether you continue your vehicle access agreement.

What cities are included in the launch? +

We are launching in the Phoenix metro area in 2026. Future expansion is planned for Denver, CO and Los Angeles, CA, though specific dates and availability are not yet confirmed.

Is SSG EV Access a government program? +

No. SSG Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We work alongside government grant programs and may leverage public clean-energy incentives on behalf of participants — but we are not affiliated with or funded by any government agency.
